Instagram trends come and go and they’re not always relevant to writers and authors BUT in the last month or so there’s been a glut of trends that I’ve been recommending to my clients, as well as using some of them myself, and across the board I’m seeing great results. Views and engagement are all up and - bonus - many of these ideas are also really quick and simple to make!

If you use all of these post ideas over the summer you’ll be able to post four times a week until the end of August, but please don’t feel like you have to use them all.

What I really want you to do is 🍒 cherry pick 🍒 the post ideas that make sense for you, your audience and your book, and complement them with other posts that are about you, your writing journey or progress, what you’re up to over the summer, shared experiences or challenges that will resonate with your audience, as well as explicitly promoting your book (if you have one).
