A FREE week-long challenge to ease you back into Instagram and get you back in front of your favourite people ❤️
If you’re gearing up for an Instagram break this summer - or perhaps you’re already on one - thinking about your return is probably the last thing on your mind. BUT if you can lend me your eyes for a couple of minutes, I’d like to tell you about a FREE challenge I’m running at the end of August that will ease you back in and get you back in front of your favourite people in just 10 minutes a day.
I’m also taking a break from Instagram during August and, while I’m Ready For It, I know that when I come back I can expect my first few posts back to be DEADER than my herb garden when we get back from our two week trip away 🥀 💀 😭
This is because the algorithms rely on engagement to signal who (and how many people) to show posts too.
If I haven’t been posting, I won’t have been getting any engagement so the algorithms won’t know what to do with me, and most people will be far too busy with their own lives to come and find me for themselves.
WHAT CAN I DO?
While running brand accounts for small businesses (which is where I cut my teeth before specialising in working with writers) I realised that I don’t have to wait for followers to stumble across my posts again. I can remind them for myself!
I developed a routine that takes no more than 10 minutes a day to get me back in front of my favourite people and doesn’t require me to make extra content. It’s super-quick, super-easy, and best of all, IT WORKS.
By the time I post my first posts back, I’ve already nudged people to come and see me, interact with my posts and join back in the conversations as though we never left them, and that means I don’t get any horrible vulnerability hangovers from posting something that is important to me and then feeling ignored or rejected because no one interacts with it (no matter how irrational those feelings are, they still niggle at times).
So, this is what I’m going to be doing from Monday 26th August - Sunday 1st September and this is your invitation to join me for FREE.
